Early, in 1998 Mo Karimi leased the current location of San Diego Bike Shop to start
a Pedi-Cab business.
Pedicabs; then a novelty in San Diego, are the three-wheeled passenger-carrying tricycles, an alternative mode of short distance transportation to cars and taxicabs in congested areas such as downtown San Diego.

However, this business activity in this centrally located building not only proved to be promising, it also showed a major demand for bicycle services and parts, which lead to the birth of San Diego Bike Shop in April 1998.

Since then, San Diego Bike Shop has become a trusted name in bicycle industry. It currently is the main business activity at this location. The San Diego Pedi-Cab business is conducted out of a nearby location. San Diego Bike Shop is a neighborhood shop and owes its success in the quality and variety of services and products it offers, and it enjoys an outstanding customer satisfaction.

We at San Diego Bike Shop strive to deliver excellence in every aspect of our work to earn costumer satisfaction. We want to be our customers choice, and to be the choice for recommendation to others.

Clifford’s toddler is now a very happy sweet three year old boy.  Clifford himself has grown to be very mature responsible father, (husband) and employee.  He still rids his single speed bike and Mo’s attempt to get him to ride off-road hasn’t been successful.
